Synthetic fiber is a part of chemical fiber.

Chemical fiber is a kind of fiber with textile properties, which is made of natural polymer or synthetic polymer as raw materials, through the preparation of spinning solution, spinning and post-treatment.

Chemical fiber can be divided into:

1) Regenerated fiber

The production of regenerated fiber is inspired by silkworms' spinning. It is a kind of textile fiber which is made of natural macromolecule compounds such as cellulose and protein, chemical processed into macromolecule concentrated solution, and then spun and post treated.

2) Synthetic fiber is made of synthetic high molecular compound. The commonly used synthetic fibers are polyester, nylon, acrylic, chlorine, vinylon, spandex, etc.
